Born and raised in LA, I'm focused on preserving and promoting locally-rooted arts and culture. This mission has taken many forms: I've worked for art galleries around the city; published features on art in California and the Southwest; and advised small creative businesses on their communications and operations. Most recently, I was the Director of Craig Krull Gallery in Santa Monica, where I produced dozens of exhibitions with both well-known and emerging LA artists. I'm currently working on a documentary on the redevelopment of the historic Bergamot Station Arts Center—the largest hub of art galleries on the West Coast—and two nonfiction manuscripts. I also write a newsletter, Wall Text, where I merge creative and commercial arts writing and report on shows in the LA area.
